In addition to releasing the iOS 9.1, OS X El Capitan 10.11.1 and watchOS 2.0.1 software updates, Apple today posted a minor update to iTunes for Mac and Windows.

The new iTunes 12.3.1 doesn’t introduce any new features and simply “improves overall stability and performance” of your Mac, according to release notes accompanying the download.

You can update your copy of iTunes through the Updates tab in the Mac App Store or by choosing Check for Updates in the iTunes menu. A standalone iTunes installer is available for Mac and Windows from the official website.

Other software Apple released today:

  • iOS 9.1Live Photos now senses when you raise or lower your iPhone, 150+ new emoji characters with full support for Unicode 7.0 and 8.0 emojis and lots of bug fixes and overall stability improvements.
  • OS X El Capitan 10.11.1150+ new emoji characters, better compatibility with Microsoft Office 2016, improved installer reliability when upgrading to El Capitan, improved VoiceOver reliability and lots of other fixes.
  • watchOS 2.0.1150+ new emoji characters, battery improvements, Digital Touch improvements and other fixes.
  • tvOS GM—a Gold Master version of tvOS was released to developers this morning ahead of the new Apple TV’s launch next week.
  • Xcode 7.1—includes Swift 2.1 and SDKs for iOS 9.1, watchOS 2, tvOS and OS X El Capitan
